We had a great view of the windy day and crazy clouds from our floor of the hospital today, but I didn't expect to actually be affected by the storm. I had quite a shock waiting for me when I got home from work! Sometime today, the winds from Fay took off one of the top limbs of my big pecan tree and dropped it neatly onto my deck, bashing up the railings. Ugh, can I say that I'm over the home-improvement stuff this year? In February I replaced the entire furnace system, later in the spring I had my driveway dug up for sewer pipe replacement, July found me remodeling the bathroom, and now apparently the fall has me re-building my deck. Boo :(
